Our History

They met by chance, just as stories worth telling usually begin. It was during a summer vacation, in a place that neither of them called home. She came from the south, with warmth in her smile and the sea in her eyes. He, from the north, more reserved, but with a way of listening that made every word feel important.

What started as a light conversation at sunset turned into shared days, spontaneous laughter, and comfortable silences. But vacations, like everything ephemeral, had an expiration date. And with the return to their respective countries, doubts arrived as well.

Distance soon showed its weight. Different schedules, demanding jobs, calls that sometimes didn’t match up. Added to that were family concerns: opinions that didn’t understand how something so far away could be real, fears disguised as advice, and moments when it seemed easier to give up than to keep trying.

There were arguments, temporary goodbyes, and promises that faltered. Each had a life built in their own country, responsibilities they couldn’t just abandon. And yet, there was something they couldn’t ignore: the certainty that what they felt was not fleeting.

So they decided to take a chance. It wasn’t an impulsive decision, but a brave one. There were long trips, sacrifices, changes of plans, and difficult choices. They learned to compromise, to wait, and to support each other even when everything seemed to be against them.

And little by little, the impossible began to take shape.

oday, there are no more airports that separate them, nor screens that substitute for hugs. They built a home where before there was only distance. A place where both worlds, both stories, and all the dreams that once seemed too far away can fit.

Because in the end, love —when it is true— does not eliminate obstacles, but it does give the strength to cross them. And they proved it: against all odds, they chose to stay. And to win.
